OSHA Hazard Communication
Did you know that OSHA updated the Hazard Communication standard in 2012 to better align with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for chemical hazard identification and communication?
This 2 hour course will cover the key OSHA GHS Hazard Communication requirements under 29CFR 1910.1200 to include:
1) Written Hazard Communication Program
2) Types of chemical hazards
3) GHS Labels
4) Safety Data Sheets (Formerly known as MSDS)
4) Employee Training
Participants will receive handouts and a certificate.
Training will be held at the NIU Campus, 5555 Trillium Boulevard, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192.
